Bought new 2 years ago and used less than 20 times in a home theater until Aug. One day I found the HDMI cable was shorted (because I pushed this huge pre-amp too much back against the rack and the HDMI cable neck was bent) and the video out port or the whole video board? But the audio section still works beautifully. And the pre-amp's own screen works just fine.

I used it by connecting the projector directly to my Panasonic DP-UB9000 and audio to this pre-amp for a couple months before I bought the Yamaha RX-A3080 receiver.
