VINTAGE SANSUI QRX-9001 QUADROPHONIC STEREO RECEIVER. For sale we have a utterly gorgeous example of the very rare Sansui QRX-9001 Quadrophonic Receiver. The Sansui QRX-9001 is multi-functional, having a similar spec to the 9090DB plus a low noise 4-channel facility for 4-channel broadcasts and recordings. 4-channel reproduction is possible in QS, SQ and CD-4 configurations along with 4-Channel synthesizing from conventional 2-Channel stereo sources.

The incorporated Dolby noise reduction and direct-reading power meters further enhance flexibility. This is an incredible bit of kit.

It is without doubt the one of the finest looking pieces of hi-fi in history in my opinion. U meters dancing in dim light is a thing of beauty. It has exceptional build quality throughout - Wood & Metal. No cheap plastic buttons here. The sound is simply sumptuous.

Bass is handled with exceptional ease and the treble shimmers in the highs with a beautiful tone. Condition wise it is in about as good condition as you could hope for with a 40+ year old receiver. The faceplate is free from any damage/scratches, the cabinet is in nice condition, all knobs, bulbs, switches work exactly as they should, and all terminals accept their respective cables. All in all - this is an incredible chance to grab an appreciating classic receiver that has recently been serviced. It will continue to work and sound perfect for a long time yet.
