Rare Vintage AKAI AA-1020 Stereo Receiver Amplifier Amp HiFi Separate - VGC. This superb vintage Akai receiver has been fully and thoroughly tested and cleaned and is in excellent working and physical condition. There are maybe a few very minor marks at best and has obviously been well looked after.

All of the input selectors, audio adjusts, buttons and knobs have been internally cleaned to ensure a smooth and crackle free use for the new owner. The display bulbs have been replaced with new grain of wheat bulbs. The sound quality is superb and really has that warmth and depth that modern amplifiers just cant replicate. This has enough inputs for upto 5 audio sources which includes 2 phono stages for your turntables. There are enough speaker outputs for upto 4 speakers which can all be used at once.

As with alot of these older amps, this doesnt have a soft off circuit so if your audio source is still playing when the amp is turned off then the audio will slowly fade out. This is not true of the built in tuner which stops as soon as the amp is turned off.

This is nothing to worry about and as most people that had these back in the day would say is to remember to turn the speakers off before the power. The power lead has a very small nick in it but this doesnt go through to the actual bare wires. This has a bit of electrical tape around it. As mentioned, it is completely safe but want to be 100% honest in my description.
