NAD C315BEE Recapped Custom Preamp Out Basic Remote Stereo Integrated Amplifier

  
This NAD C315BEE was buzzing on arrival due to a defective Main Capacitor. I upgraded both to Chemicon KMH series 105C rated caps. Many of the original JH branded Electrolytic Caps were also testing bad, so I upgraded the audio capacitors to Bipolar nichicon and ELNA, and I upgraded the Power Supply caps to mostly 105C rated nichicon, ELNA, etc. For added versatility, I have repurposed the (fixed line level) Tape Output RCA Jacks to be (variable level) Preamp Outputs suitable for a powered Subwoofer, external Power Amp, etc.

I'm also including a new 6-button learning remote programmed for Mute On/Off, Volume Up/Down, and 3 Input Selects DISC, CD, and AUX. I can reprogram as requested.

Cosmetically, this unit is in excellent shape inside and out except for some dings on the top/side cover. Please message me with any questions, corrections, etc. The NAD C315BEE is a surprisingly powerful little Beast disguised as the entry level NAD C series amplifier. Rated at 40 "NAD watts" per channel, the 45 Volt Main Rails and 10,000uF Main Caps provide plenty of IHF Power as well.

While the reviewers are quite complimentary of this model, some have mentioned their desire for Preamp Outputs. It should be noted that the Standby Mode draws similar power and generates similar heat to the ON Mode. I recommend turning OFF the Main Switch on the Rear Panel when not in use.
