The Marantz 2265 is an all solid state receiver incorporating the innovative design and unparalleled technology that have made Marantz famous in the audio component industry. The FM tuner utilises a MOSFET front end, ceramic IF filters, and a phase locked loop multiplex decoder. The amplifier sections permit the connection of two stereo pairs of loudspeakers, a turntable or record changer, two tape recorders, stereo headphones, and an auxiliary source such as an additional tuner or a TV sound source. The Marantz 2265 also features a variable turnover tone control and front panel dubbing jacks. Power output: 65 watts per channel into 8 (stereo). Frequency response: 20Hz to 20kHz. Total harmonic distortion: 0.08%. Input sensitivity: 1.8mV (MM), 180mV (line). Signal to noise ratio: 76dB (MM), 88dB (line). Output: 775mV (line), 1.5V (Pre out).
